Activities on the Great Wall

The surrounding area of the Jinshanling Great Wall National Park supports a range of activities, including:

• Abseiling off the Great Wall

Accommodation

Accommodation comprises two dormitories and two bedrooms, with a total of 24 beds. Unlike hotels where participants return to the isolation of their rooms, this setting encourages interaction and communication.

Further accommodation can be arranged locally for an additional 70 people, and participants also have the option of sleeping on the Great Wall using IWNC’s high quality camping gear.

Meeting facilities

Meeting facilities cater for a group of up to 40, and a marquee is available for larger functions. Workshops can also be run in turrets of the Great Wall. Wireless broadband, flip charts, a VCR, projector screen, photocopier, stereo and whiteboards are also available at no charge.

Food and beverage

Catering is by our excellent on-site chefs who are skilled in local and western cuisine. By prior arrangement they can cater to most dietary needs, and can arrange champagne on The Wall at sunset, or even dinner in one of the turrets.
